Here's some more about us
Crossroads: Middle School Ministry: for Grades 6-8
WAY: High School Ministry for: Grades 9-12
Mission Statement:
United by the belief in the soon return of Jesus, we are here to empower through the Holy Spirit the youth of the Worthington Seventh-day Adventist Church to love God, serve others, and grow spiritually.
Vision Statement:
At the Worthington Seventh-day Adventist church, with God as the head, we value and seek to develop a generation of youth who contribute to every aspect of our church and community and who lead a life of integrity. We encourage a creative, safe, and fun environment where this generation can grow spiritually and learn to lead.
Our youth reflect authentic love and respect for themselves and others with Christ as their example. In doing so, they serve others and treat all people as part of God’s family.
Our church respects and promotes the importance of family time because we believe a healthy family is the most important thing in the world. We love, value, and mentor the youth and children of our church, therefore we do not try to fit them into a mold; instead we connect them with the One who creates and recreates molds.
WHY?
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
John 10:10
“Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew 22:37-40
We believe our students can experience the abundant life Jesus offers when they learn how to love God, love others, and love themselves. Everything we do from our curriculum to our socials focus on these three important relationships. I would love for your teen to come and experience the community we have built here and join us as we continue to grow in our relationship with Jesus.
